The American Flag Means Freedom by Luke Sanders I consider freedom when I see this American flag. The colors to me stand for freedom and justice, because I catch sight of soldiers saluting for liberty in front of the honored flag. Outside my house I hopefully gaze at this honored flag, and at boy scouts it helps us remember we are a free country. How do I feel when the inspiring flag waves in the dim light of morning? Gradually feelings of gratefulness and patriotism pierce through my heart. I stand transfixed. Reflecting on the army men who fight in Iraq and our President causes me to remember all the wars, the united and the un-united, the love and the liberty. Best of all, the American flag stands for the freedom, strength and unity of the American people.
